Blown Away

I love spring. It's so beautiful. The wild flowers come out, and you can go swimming, and school's almost over...
And its 75 degrees but it feels like 30 because the wind is blowing at 40 miles an hour, and you're getting sand in your eyes. Oh yeah. Reeaaalll fun to run in. Especially when you get blown off course and are attacked by tumbleweeds. Oh joy.
Because track started. Today we went to the park to run, and it has these three ponds for fishing. One of the girls on the distance team, Kenedy, decided it would be fun to try to do monkey bars under the bridge. She fell. She had to have been freezing, dripping wet and all. But it really was hilarious.
Anywho, we have SAT10's this week. Fuuunnn. At least there's no homework. :)

By the way, if you want updates on my book, you can check my website.

Msical Fun (and other Random stuffs)

What up, everyone? Have you all heard that Superchick is going on tour? Check out their site for info.
Speaking of which, a really awesome band, Dizmas, recently broke up and their drummer is apparently going to Superchick. Check out Dizmas when you get the chance. I'm sure you can find them on iTunes.
Now, about Max...
The faxness blew me away.
Gazzy and Iggy have reached "the pinnacle of thier pyromania".
They all live in a deadly submarine.
Angel has turned into a scary little girl.
Nudge wants some of that good ol' book-learnin.
Jeb will be Jeb.
The Krelp make Gazzy jealous with industrial-streangth snot.

Sounds enteraining, eh?

PS: Nano now has a complete website! I'll put a link up. This blog will still be here and posting away, but now I have a larger chunk of the wonderful wide web.

Happy Birthday!!!!

Yesterday was the one-year birthday of my blog. Ain't that special? I was gonna just get a html code to have confetti rain down when you opened the page, but didn't find anything. Ah well. I decided to celebrate all month instead. So, just for all y'all readers, I composed this little poem. (In the shower last night)

The Nano-Byte is a mysterious creature
Sometimes she feels short, and sometimes she feels tall,
(Tho she's barely over five foot!)
Leading a life marked with laughter, the Nano sings its songs
(Oh, but she can't sing!)
Somedays she wears a pink-banded hat, some days an orange flower.
Or her hair could be up, could be down, or just poufy.
Sometimes the Nano loves this world, and sometimes she just feels like crying.
And sometimes, when the Nanogrows tired, she wants to forget it all...

Thank you. Rock on.
